6 Easy Steps To A Faster PC
Adjust Visual Effects

First step I take to begin making a computer faster is to tweak the visual effects, which you can do without losing how your system looks. I have tried many different combinations here, and what I share with you next, is in my opinion, the best of both worlds… Good visual effects and it’s making a computer faster.
1. Click the Start button (bottom left corner of your desktop screen), then RIGHT click on My Computer (or Computer for Vista & 7), then click on Properties, then click on Advanced system settings.
Make sure you are on the Advanced tab and then click on Settings in the Performance section (the top section).
2. Select the Custom option (make sure the round button is lit/selected).
3. Before clicking Apply, scroll to the bottom and select these 3 options only:
- Smooth edges of screen fonts
- Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop
- Use visual styles on windows and buttons
4. Click Apply (wait for your system to adjust), then click OK. Close any open windows.

There is no faster pc registration key to download here.
I think you’re confused with another site called “My Faster PC” which I am not affiliated with and would definitely not recommend buying (costs minimum of $29.95 and will not offer you any of the tools and resources I offer here). I list several tune-up tools in the members area that are far superior for optimizing pc speed and performance.

These might sound like a silly questions but the ones with an arrow on the square box are these the ones selected/active or are these the ones inactive? Thank you. Should do nothing with the ones you did not mention?
Yes the ones with an arrow are the ones to select.
