Desktop PC Overheats

Desktop Computers Freeze Because Of Dust
A hardware related issue that’s the most common is when a computer overheats. When the parts inside your computer get too hot, this tends to be one of the most common reasons computers freeze, after a computer overheats.
If you are using a desktop make sure that the fan vents are NOT blocked with dust and the inside of the computer is cleaned out thoroughly, which will help prevent your computer overheating (do this at least once a year) …
Open your PC and suck out the pc dust with a vacuum cleaner (any vacuum cleaner with a small nozzle will do), especially around the processor area (this is where most pc dust will be found). This often makes the fan run less, therefore much quieter and more effectively.

Laptop PC Overheats

Laptop Freezes If Overheating
For a laptop pc dust out the fan and seriously consider getting a laptop cooling pad, which is one of the most common reasons your Windows freezes up … due to the fact the laptop computer overheats from sitting on your lap!
Even though they are called laptops, there are not designed to sit on your lap, but on a hard surface so that the heat from underneath can freely vent out. The heat from your lap can actually bring on overheating quicker. Laptops should be clear from obstacles all the way round and maintain a cooler temperature when sitting on a hard surface or an effective cooling pad.

Software Related Problems
Software related problems may have to do with viruses, spyware, errors, corruptions, lost or moved files, and registry problems. Keeping your anti-virus up to date, using the virus scanner and spyware tools will help prevent a freeze pc or pc lag caused by programs that certain people write just to make your computer problematic (these are various types of viruses and malware, etc).
It’s very important to keep your virus and spyware tools up to date to prevent new problems from arising.

Registry Errors
Another reason you may have pc lag or your Windows freezes up completely could be caused by certain registry errors or corruptions. The computer’s registry when working properly will keep your machine running much smoother and faster… If there are registry issues, then you may experience pc lag that could eventually lead to a frozen pc system.
The simplest way of fixing these problems is by using an effective registry cleaner tool. This piece of software, kind of like your virus scanner, will find the errors and correct them for you. This should help eliminate and/or prevent computer freezes and pc lag and actually help your computer run more efficiently overall.

what if u have like a breather holder 4 ur laptop and your stuff is update with the virus proof.. everything gudd but it still freeze upon its own in even the log freezes.. i’m wondering about this thats all ?.. :)
Laptops will freeze and/or shutdown if they get to hot, if in a hot country with no air conditioning or on your lap for extended periods of time… Even thougth they are called laptops, they really are NOT designed to sit on your lap (without a cooling platform/holder)?
If that is not the issue, then it may be a glitch in your operating system. I would suggest a complete tune up and virus scan/removal procedure;
